Allow me to introduce you to Miss Illinois USA 2019, Alexandra Plotz.

Born and raised right here in the State of Illinois, Alexandra will tell you that while she enjoys all that the city of Chicago has to offer, her hometown of Geneva, Illinois still holds her heart. Geneva is a small, but bustling, town located along the Fox River. The scenic town is well known for its superb shopping, forest preserves, bike trails and it’s historic downtown among many other things. Not surprisingly, it was a wonderful place for Alexandra to grow up.

After graduating from Rosary High School, an all-girls college prep school, Alexandra attended the University of Missouri where she received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Media Communications and Multicultural Studies Certificate.During her time as Miss Illinois USA, Alexandra intends on advocating for heart health awareness. Heart disease is the number one cause of death for women. Furthermore, heart disease and other heart-related health issues runs in her family. As such, Alexandra has a strong personal connection to heart disease awareness and hopes she can help prevent the deaths of women in other families.
